To mark this year’s Safer Internet Day, we were delighted to welcome parents into school for a special workshop led by our pupils. Throughout the week, children explored the theme of online safety with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
 

The children learned what AI is, looked at real-life examples of how it is used and discussed the differences between real photographs and AI-generated images. They also explored the potential risks of AI and social media, including why age limits are in place and how to stay safe online.

As part of their learning, pupils created informative posters and pieces of work to share their knowledge. During the workshop, they confidently presented their learning to parents, explaining key concepts and answering questions.
 

We are incredibly proud of how thoughtfully and responsibly our pupils approached this important topic and we thank all parents who joined us in supporting safer internet use for everyone.
