Hi everyone, welcome to Year 5's class page. I am Miss Reeder and I am the Year 5 class teacher. Mrs Walton will support the children throughout the week as the class Teaching Assistant. The children will also be taught by Miss Beck on Monday afternoons and Miss Mac on Thursday afternoons. 

We have PE on a Thursday afternoon, please send your children in their PE kit and school hoodie. Earrings need to be removed or covered with plasters and PE bottoms need to be plain black jogging bottoms, shorts or leggings. 

During the autumn term in English, the children will be learning about mythical creatures and will be reading an exciting fiction book. In Geography, the children will be learning all about the United Kingdom using atlases and globes to investigate counties, towns and seas. In science, the children will be learning all about life cycles which involves lots of investigations. In art, we will be looking at sculpture and 3D; discovering different sculptures from a range of artists before creating our own.
