School Council
Brookfield Community Primary School School Council
At Brookfield Community Primary School, we value the many benefits of having a School Council, as it represents the voice of the whole school community. We believe that the Council helps us work together as a community, creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. By encouraging pupils with positive attitudes to take a leading role, the School Council inspires others and makes a meaningful difference to school life. Our vision is to ensure that all children enjoy a safe, happy and fair learning environment, where they have the chance to share their ideas, voice concerns, and take part in shaping the way our school is run. Through this work, pupils develop problem-solving skills, learn about responsibility, and experience the values of democracy in action.
Our School Council aims to:
Help children grow in confidence and take responsibility, making the most of their talents.
Prepare pupils to play a positive and active role as citizens within our school and community.
Encourage healthy choices and safe lifestyles.
Build strong friendships and show respect for the differences that make each person unique.
Provide every child with a “voice,” ensuring their opinions and ideas are heard and valued.
