Event one

The Happiness Heroes decided that they wanted to focus their first event on promoting doing something for yourself. At the planning meeting the children discussed how important it is for our mental health to spend time doing things we enjoy. They thought about some different activities that they could have out for other children to drop in and enjoy during lunch time. 

The event proved very popular with children from all year groups calling in to spend some time doing something they enjoyed. 

Event two

For the second event of the year the Happiness Heroes decided they wanted to teach other children ways that they could get to know new people. At the planning meeting they discussed how it feels when you have nobody to play with and how sometimes it is hard to approach people to start a conversation.
