Welcome to the Year 3 Class Page!

My name is Miss Moseley, and I am delighted to be the Year 3 class teacher. We are also fortunate to have Mrs Khan supporting the children throughout the week as our Teaching Assistant. On Wednesday afternoons, the children will be taught by Miss Mac and on Monday afternoons they will have French with Mrs Goodwin. 

PE lessons take place every Wednesday afternoon. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their PE kit, including their school hoodie. For health and safety reasons, earrings must be removed or covered with plasters. PE bottoms should be plain black shorts, jogging bottoms, or leggings.

Year 3 is an exciting milestone as it marks the beginning of Key Stage Two. As the children progress through the year, they will develop greater independence while exploring a range of engaging and inspiring topics. We will become archaeologists as we journey through the Stone Age to Iron Age, travel back in time to learn about the Romans, and become explorers while investigating our local area.

Alongside our exciting curriculum, the children will benefit from a variety of educational visits and experiences with visiting experts throughout the year. We are committed to providing every child with memorable learning opportunities, helping them to grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.

Please note that we no longer use the Class Dojo messaging service for communication. Any messages sent through Dojo will not be seen by staff. If you need to contact us, please do so through the school office or speak to me briefly at the beginning or end of the school day.
