As part of our Gardener and Seed programme, Year 6 pupils worked together to decorate tables in the lunch hall for their Reception partners. The Gardeners carefully designed and created festive table displays to help their Seeds feel special, valued and excited to share our Christmas lunch together.

This activity provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to demonstrate our school values. They showed kindness and respect by thinking about how to make their Seeds feel welcome, inclusivity by creating spaces where everyone belonged, independence through planning and preparing the decorations, and resilience when working together to bring their ideas to life. The decorated tables helped create a warm and supportive environment where friendships could continue to grow.
