Please ensure your child has swimming shorts or suit, a swimming cap and a towel every week. If children require goggles, a letter will need to be signed and handed in.

Assessment

  • Your child will be assessed throughout the year. We use ‘Entering, developing and secure’ to record your child’s achievements.

  • We expect children to be ‘entering’ in the autumn term, ‘developing’ in the spring term and ‘secure’ in the summer term. Your child will therefore be ‘on track’ to reach the end of year age related expectations.

  • We will report to you 3 times a year (autumn parents evening, spring parents evening and summer reports)
