Important Information

PE

Our PE day is Thursday

Please ensure your child has a full P.E kit, with their name written in their t-shit, shorts, trousers and pumps.

P.E kits can be purchases from the school office or from the local supermarket.

In Year 5 we also go swimming. Swimming will begin after February half term on a Tuesday. Information for this will be sent out nearer the time.

Assessment

  • Your child will be assessed throughout the year. We use ‘Entering, developing and secure’ to record your child’s achievements.

  • We expect children to be ‘entering’ in the autumn term, ‘developing’ in the spring term and ‘secure’ in the summer term. Your child will therefore be ‘on track’ to reach the end of year age related expectations.

  • We will report to you 3 times a year (autumn parents evening, spring parents evening and summer reports)
