As you may be aware KS2 assessments have changed.
Children are no longer assessed using 'Levels', instead they are assessed against 'End of KS2' standards.
In order to ensure all pupils are fully prepared for these tests, we cover all aspects of the New National Curriculum which was reviewed in 2014.

Assessments will include:
Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Test
Maths Papers (1 arithmetic and 2 reasoning papers)
Writing and Science will continue be teacher assessed, as standards are best looked at over a range of work rather than one piece. Although there may be a possibility of a more formal Science test this year.
These tests serve to back up and support teacher's assessments, which take place throughout the year and are rigorously monitored both in school and by the authority.
The following frameworks from the DfE will be used to assess the standards of your child in Reading, Writing and Maths. Click link below to view.
Any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
